Dorothy Fary

Dorothy Fary, 88, of Eatontown, New Jersey passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 18, 2023. She was born Dorothy Stahl on October1, 1934 in Newark, New Jersey.  She spent most of her life living in the shore area.  She met and went onto marry the love of her life, Robert Fary, together they raised their family in Eatontown, New Jersey. Dorothy was a dedicated Registered Nurse for several years at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, New Jersey.  After nursing she got much joy out of being a crossing guard in Eatontown, New Jersey, spending her mornings and afternoons at her post on Broad Street, greeting the children.

Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved parents, Lorenz and Emma (Hausler) Stahl, a beloved son, Richard Fary and a sister, Margot Smith.  She is survived by her loving children, Robert Fary and his wife Maureen of Phoenix, Arizona, Linda Orlofski and her husband Karl of Jackson, Wisconsin and Donna Rice and her husband Neil of Eatontown, New Jersey, a daughter in law, Shannon Fary and her six cherished grandchildren and five adoring great grandchildren. Dorothy was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed, never forgotten and always loved. 

Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey   07730.
