Donna M. D'Amico

Donna M. D’Amico, 64, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 9, 2023.  She was born Donna McKenzie on October 2, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York, where she grew up and met her beloved husband, William.  On August 18, 1990, Donna and William were married and began their life together in Brooklyn.  In 2009, they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey.

While living in New Jersey, Donna worked for PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel.  Donna was a lover of all music, especially Bruce Springsteen.  She enjoyed dancing and never met a person she didn’t like.  She also adored animals.  Most of all, Donna was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many.  She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Caroline (Bricese) and James Sands McKenzie.  Donna is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 32 years, William D’Amico, her loving daughter, Cynthia McKenzie of Hazlet, her dear brothers, James McKenzie of Hazlet, and Robert McKenzie of California, and her cherished grandchildren, Lorelai and Mackenzie.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, August 11, 2023, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and Saturday morning, August 12, 2023, from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735.  In respect of Donna’s wishes, she will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
