Dolores Anstett, fondly known as “Marie”, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 3, 2024. She was born Dolores Weatherall on May 27, 1931, in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she grew up. After marriage, Marie and her beloved husband, Raymond, settled in Hazlet, New Jersey where Marie bravely raised her four daughters after Raymond’s death in 1970. Before her retirement, Marie worked as a receptionist for K. Hovnanian in Red Bank, New Jersey. In her earlier years, she was a Girl Scout troop leader and a member of the St. Benedict Altar Rosary Society. Above all else, Marie adored spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Laura (Soencksen) Weatherall, her beloved husband, Raymond Anstett, and her daughters, Valerie DeNardo and Kristi Mulhern. Marie is survived by her loving daughters, Karen Falcone and her husband, Gary, of Ewing Township, and Pamela Parke and her husband, Thomas, of Freehold, her dear sons-in-law, Michael DeNardo and Raymond Mulhern, her cherished grandchildren, Laura Martin and her husband, George, RaeJillian DeNardo, Max DeNardo and his wife, Amanda, Gregory Falcone, Matthew Parke, Alexander Mulhern and his wife, Allison, Zachary Mulhern and his wife, Erica, Mackenzie Parke, and Raymond Mulhern, and her adored great grandchildren, Austin Martin, Logan Martin, Skyler Martin, Paisley DeNardo, Oakley DeNardo, and Maverick DeNardo.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday morning, November 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.
