Obituary

Dimitrios Alexiou, 40, presently of Davie, Florida,  passed away suddenly on June 19, 2022. He was born on October 19,1981 in Brooklyn, New York. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York and also lived in  New Jersey before enlisting in the United States Marine Corp. He also lived in Georgia before settling in Davie, Florida. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Dimitri was presently employed as a lineman for Mastec Renewable Energy in Florida.

Dimitri was predeceased by his grandparents Dimitrios and Triada Alexiou and Charles and Mary Maguirk. He is survived by his loving parents Nikolaos Alexiou and Anna Maguirk Alexiou, his siblings Nikolaos Alexiou of Palm Coast, Florida, Maria Alexiou of Freehold, New Jersey, Alex Alexiou of Freehold, New Jersey, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.  He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A funeral service and Devine Liturgy will take place on Monday, June 27 at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orhtodox Church, 20 Hillcrest Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733 at 11:00 AM.
