Diane Carol Potts

Diane Carol Potts, 76, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.  Diane was born on June 22, 1945 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey and lived her entire life in Keyport, New Jersey, where she also raised her family.  Before her retirement, Diane worked as a secretary for Keyport Central School for many years.  Most of all, Diane was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother.  She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph A. and Hazel (Hardy) Jardot, and her dear siblings, Hedy A. Potts and William Potts.  Diane is survived by her beloved daughter, Dina Carol Zampelle and her husband, Michael Araneo, of Long Branch, her adoring siblings, John W. Potts and his wife, Virginia, of Wayside, Joseph Potts and his wife, Carol, of Gap, Pennsylvania, Leon Potts of Tennessee, Edward Potts and his wife, Toosje, of Lakewood, New Jersey, Mary Lou Terwilliger of Hazlet, James P. Potts of Hazlet, and Gladys Tarantino and her husband, John, of Long Branch.  Diane also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Lauren and Nicholas Zampelle, and her treasured great grandson, R.J. Silverman.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday morning, July 17, 2021 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during visitation hours on Friday, as well as Saturday morning.  Interment will follow Saturday morning's visitation at Shoreland Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hazlet, New Jersey.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
