Diana Marie (Roman) Ospina

Diana Marie Ospina, 44, of Middlesex, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025.  She was born Diana Roman on November 4, 1980, in Valley Stream, New York, and grew up in the Jamaica section of Queens, where she met her beloved husband, Roberto.  Diana and Roberto were married on October 9, 2009.  They started their life together in Queens, before moving to Briarwood, New York.  They also lived in Plainfield, New Jersey and settled in Middlesex.  Diana worked as a project manager for Active Contracting.  Most of all, Diana was a devoted wife and mother.  She adored her sons, and her top priority was taking loving care of her family.  She will be greatly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her father, John Roman Jr.  Diana is survived by her devoted husband of 15 years, Roberto J. Ospina, her beloved sons, Derek and Jacob Ospina, her adoring mother, Mary Ann Roman, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Francisco and Geovanna Garcia, and her dear niece, Isabella Garcia.  Diana also leaves behind her cherished dog, Knuckles, and many treasured extended family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home at approximately 5:00 PM.  In respect of her family’s wishes, Diana will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
