Denise Gomez

Denise Gomez, 66, of Cliffwood Beach, a person of love and kindness, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on October 27, 2025, at Meadowbrook Respiratory and Nursing Center, in Matawan, New Jersey.  She was born on February 2, 1959, in the vibrant city of Cali, Colombia. It was at the age of 14, with both courage and determination that Denise moved from Colombia to Elizabeth, New Jersey. It was around 1991 that Denise and her family moved to the shore area, where they remained.  Denise brought joy and warmth to everyone she met throughout her life.

Denise dedicated herself to owning and operating her own cleaning service. Her work ethic and commitment to her clients earned her the respect and admiration of all who knew her professionally. 

Outside of her professional commitments, Denise enjoyed shopping and eating out to her favorite spots, however, her greatest interest was her grandchildren and great grandchildren, with whom she loved spending time with. Denise's presence was always a comfort and joy at family gatherings. Denise Gomez raised generations with compassion, patience, and unmatched love. 

Denise was predeceased by her beloved parents, Jose and Mary Gomez, and her treasured son, Alex Gomez. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her devoted children, Jimmy Alvarez of Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey, and Vanessa Rivera and her husband Jesus, of Cliffwood, New Jersey. Her caring siblings, Gustavo Gomez, Humberto Gomez of Keyport, and Evelyn Gomez of Old Bridge. Denise's life was brightened by the laughter and love of her cherished grandchildren, Brianna, Michelle, Skylar, Anthony, Lexandra, and Gianna. They, along with her adoring great-grandchildren Emory, Bella, Lily, and Sayla, will carry the memory of her love and courage in their hearts forever. She will be greatly missed, always loved and never forgotten.
