Debra "Debbie" Rezac Obituary

Debra “Debbie” L. (Griffin) Rezac, 69, of Hazlet, New Jersey, formerly of Keyport, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey.  Debra was born on January 31, 1955, in Manhattan, New York. She grew up in Great Kills, Staten Island, NY, and in 1985 she moved to Keyport, New Jersey where she enjoyed raising her family.

Before becoming a Certified Nurses Aid, Debbie lovingly embraced her years of being at home and raising her wonderful family.  In 1990 Debbie became a Certified Nurses Aid and joined the” team” at Care One in Holmdel, New Jersey. As much as Debbie loved her job, she was much loved by her coworkers and patients. After many dedicated years, she retired in 2019. 

Debbie was an avid Yankee’s and John Denver fan. She was also an avid reader. She loved spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren.  By her family, she will be remembered for her love of creating family traditions and her perseverance in life. It seemed that no matter what challenges life chose to send to Debbie, she accepted them with a smile. Her smile and kindness will also be remembered by those friends that loved her.

  Debbie was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and Godmother.  She will be greatly missed, forever loved and never forgotten. 

Debra was predeceased by her beloved parents, James and Jean (White) Griffin, her dear brother, Jimmy Griffin and a wonderful nephew “little” Jimmy Griffin. She is survived by her loving children, Renee Bracken and her husband Chris, David Rezac, Robert Rezac and Daniel Rezac, her cherished grandchildren, Averie Zandomenengo, Robert J. Rezac and Casey Jean Bracken, a caring brother, John Griffin and his wife Nikki and her adored Goddaughter, Bethany Griffin as well as extended family and friends.
