Deborah Yvette Parrish Jackson, 65, slipped away peacefully, at home, on Friday, December 27, 2024. Deborah was born on May 27, 1959, in Long Branch, New Jersey. She was raised in Matawan, NJ, where she attended and graduated from Matawan Regional High School in 1977. She went on to attend and graduate from Wilfred Beauty Academy in Red Bank, New Jersey.
On April 17, 1982, Deborah married William “Sonny” Jackson of Boston, Massachusetts, and they had 4 children together, joining William’s oldest daughter from his previous marriage. Deborah was a loving and caring mother.
Deborah was predeceased by her father, Donald F. Parrish, Sr., her mother Constance Malinconico, her stepfather Ralph Malinconico, her husband Sonny Jackson and her sister Stacey Johnson. She leaves to mourn her loss, her 3 loving daughters Nicole Jackson Walker (Brian), Sunni Jackson-Pruss (Jonathan) and Whitney Montgomery (Nathan), her 2 adoring sons, William J. Jackson (Randi) and Justin A. Parrish Jackson. She is also survived by 10 cherished grandchildren, Donovan, Niani, Sydnee, Emerson, Laela, Braelan, Jameson, Leona, Remi and Joah, her treasured siblings Donna, Donald (Cathy), Michelle, Tony and Danielle, her brother-in-law Eric and many cherished nieces, nephews, God children, extended family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, January 3, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday morning, January 4, 2024 from 10:00 to 12:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway 35, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered on Saturday morning starting at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.
