Danial Moowad

Danial Moowad, 77, of Hazlet, New Jersey, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on January 14, 2022. He was born on April 30, 1944 Cairo, Egypt.  Danial and his beloved wife Renee  celebrated 48 years of marriage and were married  January 8, 1974. Born in Egypt they came to the United States in 1990 relocating in Queens, New York before settling in Hazlet, New Jersey in 2017. He retired from Lincoln Hospital in Bronx, New York as an Accounting Associate Clerk after many years of faithful service.

He was predeceased by his parents Said and Maria Awad Moowad, his late siblings Boulos, Shenoudah and Metri. Danial is survived by his beloved wife Renne Seddik,  his loving children Danny Moowad and his wife Nancy Nasr of North Carolina, Mary Elmasri and her husband Peter of Marlboro, New Jersey, Margaret Moowad and her husband Marius Mazareanu of Queens, New York,  his cherished grandchildren Maurelle, Daniel, Christian, Adrianna, Olivia and Daniella, along with his loving siblings Shoukry, Esther and Elaine.  He is also survived by extended family members and friends. 

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Coptic Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday morning, January 18, 2022 at  9:30 AM at St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church, 132 New Jersey Route 34, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  Interment will follow at  Marlboro Memorial Park Cemetery, 361 State Highway 79 Morganville (Marlboro) , New Jersey 07751.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
