Cono J. Ragone

Cono J. Ragone, 91, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away on April 22, 2020 at the New York State Veteran's Home in Jamaica, Queens.  Cono was born in Brooklyn, New York, where he grew up.  Later in life, he moved to Hazlet, New Jersey with his sister, Ann.  Before retirement,  Cono worked as an Elevator and Stock employee for May's Department Store in Brooklyn.  He was also a proud United States Army Veteran.

He was predeceased by his parents, Cono and Mary (Calichio) Ragone, his brothers Frank, Michael,  and Tony Ragone, along with his sisters Mildred Leto, Angelina Marcone and Amelia Kipling.  Cono is survived by his dear sisters, Ann Castellani of  Hazlet, and Lucy Lockhart of Georgia, along with 24 cherished nieces and nephews.  Cono will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  Due to the current COVID-19 health crisis, visitation and services will be held privately for the immediate family only.  Cono will be interred at Brigadier General William C.
