Connie (Allotta) Smith

Connie Smith, 63, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.  She was born Constance Allotta on March 24, 1957 in Brooklyn, New York and was raised in the Great Kills section of Staten Island, New York.  In 1990, Connie and her husband, Richard, settled in Union Beach, New Jersey.  Before her retirement, Connie worked for International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) for 28 years in their import department.  Connie was a loving wife, mother, and sister.

She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Maryann (Stingi) Allotta and her beloved husband, Richard J. Smith.  Connie is survived by her loving children, Sean Smith and his wife, Shannon, of Hazlet, and Laura Smith of Union Beach, along with her dear brother, Michael Allotta and his wife, Debra, of Toms River.  Connie will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home on Friday evening, October 16, 2020 during visitation hours.  In respect of Connie's wishes, she will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
