Clark W. Stone, 65, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. Clark was born on December 16, 1959, in Ukiah, California, and grew up in Portland, Oregon.
He also lived in Texas, Hackensack, New Jersey and in 1995 settled in Keyport, New Jersey. Clark joined the US Army after graduation from High School and after 6 years was discharged as a Sergeant from Fort Hood. He retired in 2019 as a Truck Driver, after many years on the road. He will be greatly missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
Clark’s great joy was spending time outdoors with his friends and loved one’s fishing and hunting. They had many great adventures in the US, including Alaska, Colorado, Montana, Lake Ontario and all over Pennsylvania. He loved going to the cabin in Pennsylvania, that was the special place for him with all his best friends.
Clark was predeceased by his father, Wallace Stone, and his sister Kimberley Stone. Clark is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Marjorie (Mickey) Cassidy-Stone, his dear mother Alice Decker Sutton & Pops Sutton, his children Jerimiah Stone of Portland, Oregon, Christina Stone also of Portland, Oregon, his brothers, Steven Stone of Lexington, Kentucky, Eric Stone of Florida, his grandchildren Maverick, Aurora, Rebbeca, Stewie, along with his niece and nephew’s Andy Deburlet, Brooke and Johny Iry, his great nieces and nephews, Pvt. Patience Vaughan, Skylar Iry, Kayelynn Iry, Miles Iry along with his good friends Leeann Graham, Ed Elvin Sr., Ed Elvin Jr., Elwood Elvin, Courtney Elvin and Valerie Coy along with many extended family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway 35, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home at 5:15 PM with military honors. In respect of Clarks wishes he was privately cremated.
