Christine E (Best) Seeger

Christine “Chris” E. Seeger, (nee Best), 78, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey.  She was born Christine Best, on August 16, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York where she grew up.  Chris met and later married the love of her life, Kenneth A. Seeger. In 1973, they moved to Hazlet, New Jersey where together they raised their children.

 Chris enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City, New Jersey. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. They had so much fun baking Christimas cookies that they would bake them for “Christmas in July”. 

She is predeceased by her beloved parents, Robert and Agnes (Hanley) Best. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-four years, Kenneth A. Seeger, her devoted children, Thomas Seeger and his wife, Diane of Hazlet and Kelle England and her husband John of Manville, New Jersey, her cherished grandchildren, Ella Rose Seeger, Anna Grace Seeger, Sara Allegre ,Jameson Allegre, Justin England and Kyle England. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed, always loved and never forgotten. 

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Prayer Service will be held on Saturday during the visitation.  In respect of Christine’s wishes she will be privately cremated.
