Charles F. Fenn, Jr., 92, of Freehold, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Mattison Crossing at Freehold. Charles was born on May 6, 1929 in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Braintree, Massachusetts. Charles received his Bachelor's Degree from MIT and then went on to receive his Master's Degree from Harvard University. After completing school, Charles moved to New York, where he began his career in Mathematics and met his beloved wife, Celina. Charles and Celina started their lives together in Manhattan, New York. Later, they moved to West New York, New Jersey, where they lived for many years before recently settling in Freehold in February 2021. Before his retirement, Charles worked as a Mathematics Professor and was also an editor for mathematics textbooks.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mildred (Potter) and Charles Fenn, Sr., and his dear sister, Constance Tierney. Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Celina (Barbato) Fenn, his brother, Albert Fenn, four nieces, one nephew, 13 great nieces and nephews, 6 great-great nieces and nephews, and his cherished friends, Antonia and Andres Serra. Charles will be sadly missed and never forgotten.
