Charles A. Crescenzio, 91, of Staten Island, New York, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at the Golden Gate Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Staten Island, New York. Charles was born on September 26,1929 in Brooklyn, New York where he grew up and remained. He moved to Staten Island, New York in 2019. Before his retirement, Charles worked for the New York City Parks Department. Charles was also a proud Army Veteran who bravely served our country during World War II. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Mary (Bonaccio) Crescenzio, and his dear brother, Ralph Crescenzio. He is survived by his loving and caring daughter, Mary Frances Terranova and her husband, Michael of Freehold, New Jersey and his cherished grandsons, Michael Charles Terranova and Nicholas J. Terranova.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, August 30, 2021, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:30 AM at St. Athanasius R.C. Church, 6115 Bay Parkway, Brooklyn, New York 11204. Interment will follow Monday morning's visitation and Mass of Christian Burial at St. John’s Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Queens, NY 11379.
