Carolyn Caullett, 87, of Union Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey. Carolyn was born on February 25, 1937, in Princeton, New Jersey. She met and later married the love of her life, Harry Caullett Sr., on April 23, 1954. They began their life together in Little Rocky Hill, New Jersey and moved to Union Beach in 1958 where they raised their family. Carolyn retired after thirty dedicated years from Delicious Orchards, Colts Neck, where she worked in Bakery Production.
Carolyn lived a long and adventurous life and was full of personality up until the very end. She found joy in many ways, but was especially fond of trips to Atlantic City and weekly Bingo outings. She was an avid New York Mets fan and could be found watching Jeopardy or the Hallmark movie channel with the Budster if a game wasn’t on. Above all else, Carolyn defined and upheld the true meaning of family. She prioritized quality time with loved ones and never missed an opportunity to create memories and express her adoration for family and friends both near and far. She will be greatly missed, always loved and never forgotten.
She is predeceased by her beloved parents, Thomas and Mary (Servis) McManimon and her loving husband Harry Caullett Sr. as well as a caring son-in-law Joseph Maklowski. Carolyn is survived by her wonderful children, Harry Caullett Jr. (wife Paula) of Union Beach and Debra Maklowski of Union Beach. She also deeply cherished her grandchildren, Harry Caullett III (wife Pamela), Nicole Caullett, Holly Burke (husband Mike), Amanda DeWan (husband George), Joseph Maklowski (wife Liz), and Kevin Maklowski. She absolutely adored her great grandchildren, Brienna, Callahan, Grady and Griffin DeWan, Harry Caullett IV and William Caullett, and the soon-to-be Adalae Maklowski. Carolyn was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
