Carlos A. Orellana, a man of love and faith, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at the age of 84 at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. Born on September 17, 1941, in the scenic town of Huigra, Ecuador. Carlos was the cherished son of the late Cesar and Julieta (Yepez) Orellana. His journey brought him from the vibrant landscapes of Ecuador to the bustling life of New York City in 1968. Carlos moved to Miami in 1979 before returning to New York City, in 1980. Along with his loving wife, Sonia they moved to Keyport, New Jersey in 2005, where they remained.
Carlos's life was a testament to the power of love and commitment. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sonia (Estrada) Orellana, with whom he shared a beautiful and enduring partnership. Together, they raised a family that became Carlos's pride and joy. His legacy continues through his children: Carlos A. Orellana Jr. of Bronx, New York; Mario J. Orellana and his wife Shawna of Brooklyn, New York; Lisa Cedeno and her husband Edward of Old Bridge, New Jersey; and Paul Orellana and his wife Andrea of Ft. Mill, South Carolina.
