Carlos E. Habon

Carlos E. Habon, 75, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel.  Carlos was born on July 1, 1944 in Santiago, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, where he grew up and later in life immigrated to the United States.  Carlos settled in Union Beach, New Jersey, where he raised his family.  Before retirement, Carlos was a self-employed business owner.

He was predeceased by his parents, Beatriz (Estrata) and Simplicio H. Habon, and his first wife and mother of his children, Nelly Habon.  Carlos is survived by his loving children, Charlene Habon of Union Beach, Marlene Habon and her companion, Nick Manzella, of Laurence Harbor, and Carlo Habon and his wife, Kate, of Union Beach, his loving wife, Milagros L. Springate, his dear siblings, Onofre, Rose, Alice, and Imelda, and his cherished granddaughters, Alanah Ramos and Jade Habon, along with many adoring nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Carlos will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  Due to the current COVID-19 health crisis, all visitation and services will be held privately for immediate family only.  Carlos will be interred on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at St. Joseph Cemetery, 360 Broadway, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.  For information or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
