Canturiencia Matos

Canturiencia Matos, 87, of Bronx, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Lincoln Hospital in Bronx, New York.  Canturiencia was born on July 2, 1937 in Puerto Rico and grew up in Bronx, New York.  She lived most of her adult life in Manhattan, New York, before returning to the Bronx in recent years.  Before her retirement, Caturiencia worked as a Hairdresser for many years.  She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

She is predeceased by her parents, Sergio and Julia (Hernandez) Matos.  Canturiencia is survived by her loving son, Alfredo Rivera, and her dear brother, Anivan Matos.
