Bruce C. Rabold, 77, of Hazlet passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side, on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey. Bruce was born on October 19, 1947, in Blair County, Pennsylvania to his parents, Roy and Bernice (Walls) Rabold. In the 1960’s Bruce moved to Staten Island, where he later met and married the love of his life, Carol Brower, on May 23, 1971. They remained in Staten Island, New York, until moving to Hazlet, New Jersey in 2020 to be closer to family. Bruce was a dedicated union plumber. He retired from Buttermark Plumbing and Heating, Staten Island, New York, where he worked for many years. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he received a purple heart for his service and was a member of the Disabled American Veteran's. He was a member of Plumbers Local 1 in New York City and the Staten Island Plumbers Club, Staten Island, New York. He had a love and talent for hunting and fishing.
Bruce was predeceased by his beloved parents, Roy “Buck” and Bernice (Walls), a daughter, Patricia Kelly and his grandson, John Rosati. He is survived by his adoring wife, Carol (Brower) Rabold. loving children, Janine Fanuzzi of Staten Island, New York, Keith Rabold and his wife Patricia of Middletown, New Jersey, and Kevin Rabold and his wife Su Avdiu, of Hazlet, New Jersey, his caring sisters, Linda Mooney and her husband Dennis of Staten Island, New York and Denise Barker and her husband Bob of Catskills, New York and his cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Jake, Katlyn, James, Nathaniel, Catherine, Sofia and Ava and his adoring great grandchildren, Dean, Siena, and Alice. Let us not forget his companion and trusting four-legged friend Phil!
Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, February 28th, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
