Barbara (Wolkowski) Ennis

Barbara Ennis, 78, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel.  She was born Barbara Wolkowski on September 1, 1941 in Bayonne, New Jersey, where she grew up and met her beloved husband, Ronald.  In 1969, they started their life together in Hazlet, New Jersey, where she raised her family and in 1996, they retired to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she helped raise her grandchildren, Michael and Jessica Florio after her daughter, Desiree, passed away.  In 2013, she returned to New Jersey where she settled and remained to be close to her family. Barbara adored her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  Barbara also enjoyed playing slots at the casino, as well as an avid bingo player..

She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Adeline (Surach) Wolkowski, her beloved husband, Ronald Ennis, her loving daughters, Gina Ennis and Desiree Florio, her adored great granddaughter, Adriana DiGiorgio and her three dear brothers, Michael, Anthony and Frank Wolkowski. Barbara is survived by her loving children, Ronald Ennis and his wife, Elizabeth, of North Plainfield, Sean Ennis and his wife, Karen, of Hazlet, and Anthony Ennis and his wife, Jackie, of Hazlet, her cherished grandchildren, Drew Ennis, Michael Florio, Jacquelynn Ennis, Jessica Florio, John, Nicole, Sean, Allie, Madison and Anthony Ennis, and her adored great grandchildren, Angelina, Desiree, and Adeline Florio and Christopher DiGiorgio.  Barbara will be sadly missed and never forgotten.
