Barbara A. (Cox) Doty

Barbara A. Doty, 73, of Ocean, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.  She was born Barbara A. Cox on September 15, 1946 in Bronx, New York, where she grew up.  On May 13, 1972, Barbara and her husband, David, were married and began their life together in Keansburg, New Jersey and a few years later relocated to Keyport.  Over their lifetime together they have lived in various different areas, ultimately settling in Long Branch, New Jersey.  Barbara was a spiritual, religious person.  She was a woman of great faith with a very loving heart, especially among her family, friends and those closest to her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Lillian (Ferris) Cox.  Barbara is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 49 years, David A. Doty, her children, Kimberly Morales and Christopher Mazella, and her loving siblings, Joanne Owens, Irene Mulhearn and her husband, Jack, Claire Downes and her husband, John, Maryann Pilkington and her husband, Roger, Pat Skweres, Kathy Cox and her husband, Gary, and Joseph Cox and his wife, Laura, along with four cherished grandchildren and one great granddaughter.  Barbara will be sadly missed and never forgotten
