Arthur W. Jack Jr.

Arthur W. Jack Jr., 63, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel.  Arthur was born on November 17, 1957, in Newark, New Jersey.  He grew up in Union Beach, where he lived for most of his life before moving to Hazlet approximately 12 years ago.  Before his retirement, Arthur worked as a Steamfitter for many years for Local #475 located out of Warren and Newark, New Jersey.  Artie, what he was called by his family and friends,  loved people and life itself. Even after he was hurt and forced to retire early from the Steamfitters, Artie went back to work at AMC in Eatontown for another 11 years because he enjoyed interacting with people.  Artie loved sports and was an avid New York Yankee and Giant fan.  He was also a devout member of The First United Methodist Church of Seabright, New Jersey, where his incredible faith and caring heart encouraged and inspired so many.  Most importantly, Artie was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many.  He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur W. Jack Sr. and Carmela (Juliano) Jack, his son, Joseph V. Jack, and his companion of many years Sheila Alsman.  Arthur is survived by his loving sons, Arthur W. Jack III of Hazlet, and Jason G. Jack of Hazlet, his ex-wife and mother of his children, Elinor Jack, of Toms River, his adoring sister, Angela Esposito and her husband, Frank, of Morganville, his cherished grandson, Noah Joseph Jack, his dear nieces and nephews, Frank Esposito III and his wife, Kristie, and Annmarie Kotsianas and her husband, Dino, along with 5 treasured great nieces and nephews, beloved cousins, and many more cherished nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday morning, September 29, 2021, from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered on Wednesday morning at approximately 10:15 AM.  A committal service and interment will follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens in Hazlet, New Jersey.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
