April (Sola) Halbach

April Halbach, 68, of Red Bank, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. She was born April Sola on March 23, 1956, in New York, where she grew up.

April moved to New Jersey, spending some time living in Hoboken and Bayonne before settling in the West Keansburg section of Hazlet in 1984, where she remained to raise her family. In 1995, she moved to Middletown and, after the loss of her husband in 2013, April moved to Red Bank, New Jersey, with her beloved son, Michael.

In her earlier years, April attended Rutgers University, where she received a four-year scholarship for her education. Before her retirement, April worked for Whole Foods in Middletown, New Jersey, for over 15 years as their Produce Manager and trainer. Prior to this, she was a Manager for Toys"R"Us in Hazlet.

April was an exceptional cook, gardener, and crafter, who had a love for travel, deep respect for nature, and possessed a ceaseless appetite for learning. Her true passion, however, was for helping others and was a friend to all who knew her. She always had an open-door policy and would welcome everyone into her home with open arms, as she loved hosting and making all who needed it feel at ease. April adored her grandchildren and family and enjoyed every moment spent with them; her love for her family and friends knew no bounds. April will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ramon and Juanita (Pitre) Sola, her beloved husband, Edward Halbach, and her dear sister, Sarah Quinn. April is survived by her loving children, Michael Molina of Red Bank, Jennifer Molina-Hoffmann of Sarasota, Florida, and John Sullivan and his wife, Jenny, of Tacoma, Washington, and her cherished grandchildren, Jordan Sabuda and Jake Hoffmann.

Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
