Anthony "Tony" Ausiello

Anthony “Tony” Ausiello, 91, of Middletown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Arbor Terrace on Saturday, September 30, 2023.  Anthony was born on December 9, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York, where he grew up and met his beloved wife, Beatrice. After marriage, Anthony and Beatrice remained in Brooklyn, where they raised their two sons, Anthony and Michael.  In 2020, Anthony relocated to Middletown, New Jersey.  Before his retirement, he worked for New York Telephone Company for almost three decades.  He was also a proud United States Army Veteran, having served our country during the Korean War.  Most of all, Anthony was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

He was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Anna (D’Angelo) Ausiello, and his beloved and devoted wife, Beatrice (Pizzolato) Ausiello.  Anthony is survived by his loving sons, Anthony Ausiello and his wife, Talia, of Westfield, New Jersey, and Michael Ausiello and his wife, Christina, of Hazlet, and his cherished grandchildren, Michael, Alessia, Anya, and Eli.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Wednesday morning, October 4, 2023, from 9:15 to 10:00 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday morning, October 4, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 189 Gill Lane, Iselin, New Jersey.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
