Anthony Carlo Guidice Obituary

Anthony Carlo Guidice, fondly known as “Buddy”, 72, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey.  Anthony was born on December 7, 1948 in Elizabeth, New Jersey and grew up in Hillside.  On February 12, 1994, Anthony and his beloved wife, Michelle, were married and began their life together in Clark, New Jersey.  Shortly after, they settled in Hazlet, where they raised their daughter, Michelle.  Over the last 40 years, Tony worked in the building supply industry with his most recent employment being  Wanna Window in Perth Amboy, where Tony remained as their sales manager until his passing. Buddy was an avid sports fan of the Yankees and Giants, and enjoyed spending time at the racetrack and playing golf.  Most of all, Buddy was a loving husband, father, son-in-law, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, and friend to many.  He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

He was predeceased by his parents, Carlo and Dorothy (Scott) Guidice, his stepmother, Janet Guidice, and his stepbrother, Thomas Lanzafama.  Buddy is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 26 years, Michelle (Hasko) Guidice, his loving daughter, Michelle Nicole Guidice of Hazlet, his adoring mother-in-law, Theresa Pilot, his dear brother-in-law, William Hasko Jr. and his wife, Maria, and his two cherished nephews Jason and Brian Hasko of Marlboro, his adoring cousin, Tony Guidice and his wife, Gwen, of Hillsborough, and their children, TJ and Max Guidice, and his loving cousin Bobby Guidice and his partner Arnab, of Parkland, FL. Buddy is also survived by many special extended family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday morning, February 3, 2021 from 9:15 to 10:00 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday morning, February 3, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Parish/ St. Joseph Church, 376 Maple Place, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.  Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 360 Broadway, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude in honor of Buddy.  To donate, please visit, www.cancer.org.  For information, directions or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.

As per the regulations imposed through the State of New Jersey, there will now be a maximum of 100 persons allowed in the funeral home at one time.  In order to accommodate all of Anthony’s family and friends, we ask that you please be brief while visiting in order to make room for additional guests to pay their respects; we thank you for your understanding during this time. Face protection is also required as per state regulations.
