Anthony P. Romano Sr.

Anthony P. Romano. Sr., 84, presently of Hazlet, New Jersey formerly of Bayville, New Jersey passed away peacefully at Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey on January 18, 2021. He was born in Newark, New Jersey on February 2, 1936.  Anthony and his wife Maryann settled in1966 in Old Bridge where they raised their family and then moved  to Bayville in 1998. He was a retired Longshoreman for the International Longshoreman Association. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.

Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Antoinette (Caruso) Romano. and his beloved wife Maryann (DeNoia) Romano. He is survived by his loving children Anthony P. Romano, Jr. and his wife Diane of Old Bridge, New Jersey, Patrick Romano and his wife Diane of Bayville, New Jersey, his brother Carmine Romano and his wife Shirley, his sister Pattiann Linfante and her husband John, along with his cherished grandson Anthony P. Romano lll.   He will be sadly missed, but always remembered.

In respect of Anthony's wishes he will be privately cremated.  Arrangement were entrusted to the Shore point Funeral home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Route/Highway 35, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. His cremains will be entombment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, New Jersey,08562.
