Anthony “Tony” Medoro (59) unfortunately passed on Friday November 10, 2023 after a hard-fought battle with brain cancer. He died at home surrounded by his devoted family. Tony is survived by his loving wife, Laurie Bergen Medoro, and sons Casimo (26) and Anthony Jr. (25). Tony was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps Infantry, as was his brother Sergeant Major Mario Cianchetta, and son Corporal Anthony Medoro Jr.
Tony is also survived by siblings Nicola Cianchetta and his wife Lina; Antoinette Burgarella and husband Mariano; Malfalda Tucci and husband Gerry; Antonio Cianchetta; Raffaela Medoro Santiago and husband Jimmy; brother-in-law Robert J. Bergen and his wife Kelly; and a number of adoring nephews and nieces. Tony is predeceased by his parents, Casimo and Yolonda Avicolli Medoro, and older sister, Rita Brynkiewicz.
Anthony built a distinguished thirty-year career as a well-known custom home builder and contractor. More recently, looking to spend more time with his family, Tony worked as a commercial property manager overseeing several local industrial warehouse facilities. He also earned an associate’s degree from Philadelphia College of Bible and a blue seal license in boiler operation.
Tony was a dedicated member of Hazlet Bible Church for over 30 years. He continuously served in various ministries, between keeping the building maintenance up to date and regulating church workdays, to organizing coffee for members and visitors on Sunday services. His love for the church was endless.
Tony will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he has touched with his heartfelt love, amazing kindness and his selfless generosity and giving of his whole body, mind and spirit in his desire and efforts to always help and serve others. And, while we will all miss him terribly, his gentle kindness and abundant love will remain in our hearts forever.
