Obituary

Anthony A. Mazzeo (Tony), 91, of Holmdel, New Jersey passed away peacefully on February 8, 2020 at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. Anthony was born in Perth Amboy, NJ. He proudly  served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Japan and the Philippines.  After graduating in 1951 from the University of Denver he lived in Santa Monica, California, before returning to New Jersey. Anthony was a self-employed Certified Public Accountant and Registered Municipal Accountant, and also served as Comptroller of Woodbridge Township and later as Business Administrator for the Township. He was also the first Business Administrator for the Woodbridge Township Board of Education. Anthony maintained his private practice until retiring in 2013.

He was predeceased by his parents Anthony J and Mary (Giaquinto) Mazzeo. Anthony is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Dolores (Manganaro) Mazzeo, his loving children Gennine Mazzeo, Marina DeMarino and her husband Dennis, Lori Mazurek, Lisa D'Amato and her husband Michael, Lynda Granese and her husband Michael, along with his cherished grandsons: Ian Lituchy, Mickey Granese, A.J. Granese, Gavin Lituchy, Anthony DeMarino, and Dennis DeMarino. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

In accordance with Anthony's wishes services will be private.  He will be entombed at Brigadier General William C.
