Anthony Lisa, 71, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey. Anthony was born on July 22, 1948 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he grew up and met his beloved wife, Margaret. On December 21, 1968, Anthony and Margaret were married and began their life together in Jersey City. In 1986, they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey. Before retirement, Anthony worked as a Supervisor for Skyway Trucking Company in Carteret, New Jersey. He was also a proud United States Army Veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart, having served our country during the Vietnam War.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary (Scerbo) Lisa and his daughter, Kelly Lisa. Anthony is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 51 years, Margaret Lisa, his loving children, Jill Cadigan and her husband, Timothy, of Hazlet, and Meggan Mula and her husband, Jason, of Aberdeen, New Jersey, his dear siblings Joseph Lisa and his wife, Rose, Nicholas Lisa and his wife, Cathy, Libera Petrowski and her husband, Richard, and Marie Lisa, and his cherished grandchildren, Kyle Cadigan, Emily Mula and Dylan Cadigan. Anthony will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
