Anthony D. Kozielski, 74, of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, at Southern Ocean County Medical Center in Manahawkin.
Anthony was born on April 17, 1947, in Newark, New Jersey. Anthony, known by many as "Tiny", worked for JCP&L for 43 years, retiring in 2009 as a Crew Supervisor in charge of Heavy Equipment, Rigging & Cranes.
At the age of 18, he joined Hazlet Fire Company No. 1, where remained an active Life Member. He was dedicated to the Fire Company for 56 years, most notably serving as Ex-Township Chief, Fire Commissioner, and Past President. After his retirement he remained an active member and was currently serving as 1st Vice President.
He also enjoyed hunting, working, and donating time to organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House and the Boy Scouts of America. Most of all, Anthony was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Anthony J., and Martha (Sherin) Kozielski. Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara A. Kozielski of Little Egg Harbor, his loving children, Peter Kozielski and his wife, Jennifer, and Robin McCarthy and her husband, Edward; his cherished grandchildren, Christian, Hannah, Maebh, Emily, and Finn, along with extended family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. In respect of Anthony’s wishes, he will be privately cremated.
