Anna (Milucci) DeMonte

Anna DeMonte, 85, of Leonardo, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, October 21, 2020 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank.  She was born Anna Milucci on February 23, 1935 in Naples, Italy.  Anna grew up in Italy and in 1964, immigrated to the United States.  She raised her family in Brooklyn, New York, where she remained until recently settled in Leonardo, New Jersey with her daughter, Antoinette.  Before retirement, Anna was the owner of a grocery store and catering business for many years, and she loved Italian cooking.  Most of all, Anna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was predeceased by her parents, seven dear siblings, and her beloved husband, Francisco DeMonte.  Anna is survived by her loving children, Antoinette Capobianco of Leonardo, New Jersey and Mark Capobianco of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and her cherished granddaughter, Brianna.  Anna will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

 Family and friend are invited to visit on Monday morning, October 26, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home at approximately 11:45 AM.  Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, 456 State Highway 35, Middletown/Red Bank, New Jersey 07701.  For information, directions or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.

As per the regulations imposed through the State of New Jersey, there will now be a maximum of 100 persons allowed in the funeral home at one time.  In order to accommodate all of Anna's family and friends, we ask that you please be brief while visiting in order to make room for additional guests to pay their respects; we thank you for your understanding during this time. Face protection is also required as per state regulations.
