Angelina Marks Antonelli, 95, of West Long Branch, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on January 28, 2026.
Life and Legacy
Born and raised in Long Branch, Angelina, affectionately known as "Angie," attended local schools and remained a lifelong member of the community. She was a devoted wife and mother who also enjoyed a fulfilling career, serving as a secretary at Fort Monmouth for many years.
Angie found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, including playing cards and challenging herself with Sudoku puzzles. Above all, she cherished every moment spent in the company of her family and friends.
Family
Angelina was predeceased by her parents, Carmen and Filomena Abbatamarco; her husband, Nicholas Antonelli; her sister, Antoinette Lempka; and her nieces, Donna Nazimek and Patricia Guire.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Antonelli, who resides on her ranch in Farmingdale, NJ; her son, Eric Antonelli and his wife, Caroline; and her cherished grandson, Nicholas Timothy Antonelli of Lincroft, NJ. She also leaves behind many loving family members, including Erin and Keith Ackerman of Oakhurst, NJ; William Chasey; Patricia Yuzve; Nealy Russo; and Christina Russo Figlar
Service Details
At Angie’s request, there will be no viewing. Friends and relatives are invited to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 4th, at 10:30 a.m. at:
Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 101 Chelsea Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740. Her interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 105 Wall Street, West Long Branch, New Jersey.
