Alfred Aloysious Lenahan

Alfred  Aloysious  Lenahan, 79, of Hazlet, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey. Alfred was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on August 31, 1942. He grew up in Jersey City and in 1962  moved to Roselle Park and in 1986 settled in Hazlet where he raised his family and remained.  He was fondly known as Al to all.  Al retired as salesman for Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation of Jersey City, New Jersey.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, & friend.  He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

He was pre deceased by his parents Alfred  Anthony and Lois Inez (Poole) Lenahan,   Al is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years Debra (Van Name) Lenahan, his loving children Brian Lenahan and his wife Jenna of Port Monmouth, Carrie Lenahan of Sayreville, Christopher Lenahan of Washington, DC,  and his cherished  grandson Eamon Aloysious Lenahan, and extended family and friends.   He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, September 1, 2022 , from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A  Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday,  September 1,  2022 during the visitation hours.  In respect of Al's  wishes he will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com (https://www.shorepointfh.com).
