Agnes T Stano

Agnes T. Stano, 81, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, in Neptune, New Jersey. Born on May 7, 1944, in Linden, New Jersey, Agnes spent her life devoted to her family, faith, and the simple joys of everyday living.

In 1973, she moved to Hazlet, New Jersey, where she would go on to spend the majority of her adult life. In her early years, Agnes was a hairdresser and worked as a waitress. She was a hardworking woman, who always made people feel welcomed and cared for whether it was behind the salon chair or serving tables.  Later in life, she owned her own housecleaning business, a profession through which she not only meticulously cared for the homes of others but also cultivated lasting friendships with those she served. Her clients often spoke of her reliability and the personal warmth she brought into their lives

Agnes's legacy of love is carried on by her devoted daughters, Denise Carpenter and her husband John, and Jennifer Ress and her husband Adam. Her joy was multiplied by her cherished grandchildren, Hailey Carpenter, Dylan Carpenter, and Chloe Ress, who brought her immeasurable happiness and pride. Her siblings, Maryann Saunders, Edward Stano and his wife Darlene, and Mike Stano and his wife Marianne, will remember her as a guiding light and a source of unwavering support.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, October 24th, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during the visitation. In respect of her wishes, Agnes will be privately cremated.
