Adrienne Malone Obituary

Adrienne Malone, 75, of Red Bank, New Jersey, formerly of Hazlet, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Riverview Medical Center.  She was born Adrienne Otero on February 28, 1946 in Yonkers, New York to Philip and Rose (Carcione) Otero.  She spent most of her time growing up on Eastern Parkway in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York and later moved to the Belle Harbor neighborhood of Queens, New York. While working at Herzfeld & Stern in Manhattan, Adrienne met her beloved husband, Anthony, and they were married on November 22, 1969 at St. Francis de Sales Church in Belle Harbor.  A few years later in 1971, they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey, where they remained to raise their family together.  While living in Hazlet, Adrienne and Tony were devout parishioners of St. Benedict Church and very involved in the St. Benedict Parish Community for many years.  Shortly after Tony’s passing in 2016, Adrienne relocated to Red Bank, New Jersey.  Most of all, Adrienne was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.  She adored her grandson, Massimo, and loved spending as much time with him as possible.

She was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Rose (Carcione) Otero, her beloved and devoted husband, Anthony James Malone, and her brother, Daniel Otero.  Adrienne is survived by her loving children, Dawn Malone of New York, New York, and Matthew Malone and his wife, Lora, of New York New York, her dear brother, Philip Otero and his wife, Margaret, of Florida, her cherished grandson, Massimo James Malone, and many treasured nieces, nephews, and God-children. Adrienne will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 3:30 to 7:30 PM and Saturday morning, May 8, 2021 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday morning, May 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  In respect of Adrienne’s wishes, she will be privately cremated.  In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Adrienne to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.  To donate, please visit, https://donate3.cancer.org.
