Victor Andrew Tuberion

Victor Andrew Tuberion, 71, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, July 10, 2017.  Victor was born on May 22, 1946 in Czechoslovakia. In 1947, he and his family moved to the United States, and they settled in Union Beach, New Jersey, where he was raised.  In 1962, Victor moved to Germany with his family for a few years, while his father was serving in the United States Army. When he returned to the U.S. in 1966, he was drafted by the United States Army during the Vietnam War Era.  Soon after, Victor met his wife, Patricia.  They were married in October 1972 and began their lives together in Union Beach, New Jersey, where they also raised their family.  Before retirement, Victor worked as a Material Handler for IFF in Union Beach for many years. He was also an usher at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church for over 10 years, was a former Councilman for Union Beach and also served proudly on the Union Beach Fire Department for the past 46 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Marie and Victor A. Tuberion, and his brother, Edward Tuberion and his wife, Deborah. Victor is survived by his loving son, Christopher A. Tuberion and his wife, Sheri, of Union Beach, New Jersey, his companion and previous wife, Patricia (Donnelly) Sheehan, and his cherished grandchildren Arianna, Vincent, and Lillian Tuberion. He is also survived by his dear nephews, Edward Tuberion and his wife, Janice, and Brian Tuberion and his wife, Heather, along with 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.  Victor will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday morning, July 14, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday morning, July 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM, at Holy Family RC Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 360 Broadway, Keyport, NJ 07735.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
