Victor P. Roa, Sr.

Victor P. Roa, Sr., 89 of Port Monmouth, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel, New Jersey on Saturday, April 20, 2019.  Victor was born on September 18, 1929 in Hawaii and was raised in the Philippines before moving to New Jersey in 1987.  Before retirement, Victor worked for the Rassas Pontiac Auto Dealership for many years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Francisca (Avancena) and Manuel Roa, his beloved wife, Adoracion (Bagaoisan) Roa and his son-in-law, Romeo Gutierrez. Victor is survived by his loving children, Marsha Y. Gutierrez of Lakewood, New Jersey, Candido Roa and his wife, Loreta of the Philippines, Aster Ortiz and her husband, Charles of Middletown, New Jersey, Victor Roa Jr. and his wife, Donna of Maryland, David Roa and his wife, Christina of Malaysia, Paul Roa and his wife, Helena of San Francisco, California, Ruth Mandel and her husband, Irwin of Port Monmouth, New Jersey, Grace Roa, and Melea Hintz and her husband Eric of Belford, New Jersey. Victor is also survived by 16 cherished grandchildren and 5 adored great-grandchildren.  He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday evening, April 26, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, and Saturday morning, April 27, 2019 form 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 9:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 100 Chapel Hill Road, Middletown/Red Bank, New Jersey 07701.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
