Valerie H. (Huehnerbein) Free

Valerie H. Free, 77, of Hazlet, New Jersey, formerly of Greenwich, Connecticut, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 1, 2017.  She was born Valeri H. Huehnerbein on June 27, 1940 in Jersey City, New Jersey, and grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey.  In 1978, Valerie moved to Greenwich, Connecticut, where she remained until moving to Hazlet, New Jersey in 2014.  She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Virginia (Carbone) Huehnerbein.  Valerie is survived by her loving daughter, Alexandra Free of Ocean, New Jersey, her dear sisters, Andrea Sponheimer of Chatham, New Jersey, and Sandra Sobilo and her husband, Joseph, of Teaneck, New Jersey, and many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family members and friends.  Valerie will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
