Theresa "Tess" C. Notaroberto

   Theresa C. Notaroberto, fondly known as "Tess", 96, of Middletown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 23, 2017.  She was born Theresa C. Ovale  on February 24, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York to Raffe and Carmella (Romano) Ovale, where she grew up. In 1966, she moved to Staten Island, New York before settling in Middletown, New Jersey with her husband, Michael, and their family in 1999. Tess was a School Lunch Matron for the New York City Board of Education. 

    She was predeceased by her parents, Raffe and Carmela (Romano) Ovale and her devoted husband, Michael "Duke" Notaroberto. Tess is survived by her beloved children, Vincent A, Notaroberto of Columbus, Ohio, Ralph Notaroberto and his wife, Ginny of Middletown, New Jersey, and her loving sisters, Jennie Vasaturo and Helen Cerillo and Ron. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Michael Notaroberto and his wife, Catherine, Nicholas Notaroberto and his wife, Nicole, and Daniel Notaroberto, and her dear great grandson, Blake Ryan Notaroberto. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

    Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from  4:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday morning, July 26, 2017 from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Mary, Mother of God Church, 19 Cherry Tree Farm Rd, Middletown, NJ 07748  at 10:30 AM.  Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10309.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
