Theresa (Lombardi) Vigilante

Theresa Vigilante, 78, of Aberdeen, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.  She was born Theresa Lombardi on September 29, 1939 in Bronx, New York and grew up in Brooklyn, where she also raised her family.  In 1999, she settled in Aberdeen, New Jersey.  Before retirement, Theresa worked as the Secretary Treasurer for Creative Woodworking in Brooklyn, and while living in Aberdeen, was very active at St. Clement Church in Matawan, where she was a member of their Senior group.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ciriaco and Filomena (Cinelli) Lombardi, her beloved husband, Frank Vigilante, her siblings, Elvira Trezza and Jay Lombardi, her twin sister, Maryann Miranda, and her granddaughter, Alyssa Romer.  Theresa is survived by her loving children, Henry J. Romer and his wife, Rose, of Massapequa, New York, April Romer of Aberdeen, New Jersey, Anthony Romer of Florida, and Louise Trykowski and her husband, Craig, of Aberdeen, New Jersey, along with her dear brother, Anthony Lombardi.  She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Jason Romer and his wife, Lauren, Joseph Romer, Nicolette Romer, and Frank Trykowski, and her adored great grandson, Corey Romer.  Theresa will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
