Shaun Thomas

Shaun Michael Thomas, 37, of Hazlet, New Jersey, entered God's embrace on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the young age of 37. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey, he is the son of Andre and Gail Thomas; brother to Jason Chaimowitz and Andrea Balma. He is survived by three nieces, Emily Chaimowitz, Jessica Balma and Katalina Balma. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Melissa Chaimowitz and his brother-in-law, David Balma. Throughout his life Shaun was an avid sports watcher and athlete. He will be remembered for his mischievous smile, for his sense of humor and enjoyment of family gatherings.Shaun will be greatly missed, and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. In respect of Shaun’s wishes, he will be privately cremated. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Shaun's honor may be made to any agency that focuses on the study and cure of Addiction.
