Rosemarie Doonan

Rosemarie Doonan, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Arbor Terrace of Middletown, New Jersey.  She was born Rosemarie Falci on November 30, 1931 in the Bronx, New York where she grew up. In 2016, she moved to Middletown, New Jersey after residing in River Edge, New Jersey for many years.  Rosemarie worked for many years as a Claims Administrator for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New York before retiring. She was also a volunteer at Pascack Valley Hospital in Hackensack, New Jersey for many years.

Rosemarie was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Jennie (Pavullo) Falci, her beloved husband, Bryan Doonan, her dear brothers, James and Joseph Falci, and her cherished German Shepherds, “Brutus” and “Fritzy.”  She is survived by her dear brother Nicholas J. Falci of Holmdel, New Jersey.  Rosemarie is also survived by many treasured nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Rosemarie will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday morning, July 9, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/ Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 AM on Monday morning, July 9, 2018 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, 376 Maple Place, Keyport, New Jersey 07735. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10309.
