Rose Ann McHugh

Rose Ann McHugh, 71, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away on April 17, 2017 at Bayshore Community Hospital.  Rose Ann  was born on July 19, 1945 in Summit, New Jersey, to the late Raymond and Phyllis (Smolen) Johnson. She lived in Aberdeen before settling in Hazlet. Rose Ann was a homemaker and loved being with her family. She loved spending her time rescuing animals.   She is predeceased by her husband the late Francis McHugh. She is survived by her loving children Patricia AmecAngelo (Joseph) of Middletown, Jennifer McHugh of Hazlet, and Frank McHugh (Alexis) of South Amboy.   She is also survived by her siblings Raymond (Phyllis) Johnson, of PA, Russell (Trudy) Johnson of TX, Patricia (Michael) Pelosi of TX. Cherished grandmother of Alexis and Robert Fiore. Also survived by extended family members and friends. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. 

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, April 21, 2017 at The Church of St. Catherine Laboure, 110 Bray Avenue, Middletown, NJ 07748. Interment to follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home,3269 State Hwy 35 North, Hazlet, NJ.
