Richard A. Isabella

Richard Isabella, 54, passed away peacefully at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel, New Jersey surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 27, 2019.  Richard was born on February 22, 1965 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He moved to Middletown, New Jersey in 1995, before settling in Union Beach, New Jersey in 2010.  Richard was a retired Sheriff’s Officer for the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department. He was a proud United States Army Veteran who served our country during Peacetime.

He was predeceased by his parents, Stella M. (Gaudenzi) and Anthony J. Isabella.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Lesley Huggan, his dear children, Edward Isabella, Julia Isabella, Melissa Jewel and Alexandria Isabella, his step-son, Kieran Huggan, his mother-in-law Margaret Sheary and her husband Matthew, and his father-in-law, Martin Kavanagh. Richard is also survived by his brothers, sisters, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Richard will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. In respect of Richard’s wishes, he will be privately cremated.
