Phyllis D'Agostino, 56, of Holmdel, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 18, 2019. She was born Filippa Villaraut on April 15, 1963 in Turin, Italy and as a child 1968 moved with her family to Jackson Heights (Queens), New York. Phyllis also lived in Rahway and Clark, New Jersey, before settling in Holmdel with her husband, Carl, to raise their family in 1993. Phyllis was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carl D'Agostino. Phyllis is survived by her adoring parents, Gino and Maria Villaraut, her loving children, Maria D'Agostino, Sabrina D'Agostino and Gino D'Agostino, and her dear siblings, Paola Quaglia and her husband, Lou, of Toms River, New Jersey, and Sandro Villaraut and his wife, Angela, of Garwood, New Jersey. She is also survived her cherished nieces and nephews, Cristina Quaglia, Jessica Quaglia, Rocco Quaglia, Laura Villaraut and Angelo Villaraut, and her beloved dog, Rocky. Phyllis will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday morning, November 22, 2019 from 8:00 to 8:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday morning, November 22, 2019 at 9:15 AM at St. Catharine Roman Catholic Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733. Entombment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Park Cemetery, 361 Highway/Route 79, Morganville, New Jersey 07751.
