Phyllis Chiarello

Phyllis Chiarello, 81, of Holmdel, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 21, 2019.  She was born Phyllis Mannino on February 23, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York, where she grew up.  After marriage, Phyllis and her husband, Frank, began their lives together in Brooklyn and a few years later relocated to Staten Island, New York.  In the early 1970’s they moved to New Jersey and settled in Sayreville to raise their family.   Phyllis and Frank moved to Holmdel 1999/2000. Before retirement, Phyllis worked as an Office Manager with Island Pediatrics in Staten Island for many years.  Most of all, Phyllis was loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who was greatly loved by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Katherine (Miale) Mannino.  Phyllis is survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Frank Paul Chiarello, her loving children, Robert Chiarello and his wife, Mary Leigh Walukiewicz, Paula Chiarello DeMarino and her husband, Joseph, and Kristen Chiarello, her dear brothers, Frankie Mannino and his wife, Edwina, and Donnie Mannino and his wife, Pat, along with her cherished grandchildren, Robbie Chiarello and his wife, Gina, Michael Walukiewicz, Shane Oliveri, Tyler Chiarello, and Samantha Teubner, and her adored great grandson, Leo Chiarello.  Phyllis will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Route/Highway 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday evening, June 24, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday morning, June 25, 2019 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home on Tuesday morning at approximately 10:15/10:30 AM.  Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
