Peter J. D'Aguanno

Peter J. D'Aguanno, 82, of Old Bridge, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Madison Center in Matawan, New Jersey.  Peter was born on April 16, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York, where he grew up.  In 1970, he relocated to Manhasset, New York, before returning to Brooklyn in 1988.  Later in 2009, he retired to Jackson, New Jersey and in May 2016, settled in Matawan, New Jersey.  Before retirement, Peter was the proprietor of a linen rental and supply company, Rosemont Linen Supply, located in Brooklyn, New York.

He was predeceased by his parents, Matteo and Nancy (Gullo) D'Aguanno and his son-in-law, Walter Trapp.  Peter is survived by his wife, Judith (Anderson) D'Aguanno, his loving children, Patricia Trapp, Jeanne Marie Erzinger and her husband, Gene, and Matthew D'Aguanno and his wife, Vicki, along with his dear sister, Anna R. Rella and her husband, Edward, and his cherished grandchildren, William Trapp, Meaghan Trapp, Kyle Erzinger, Nicolas Erzinger, Christopher Nielsen, Sophia D'Aguanno, and Hailey D'Aguanno.  Peter will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday morning, May 19, 2018 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday morning, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07730.  In respect of Peter's wishes, he will be privately cremated, and his cremains will be interred at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Peter to the American Kidney Fund would be greatly appreciated.  To donate please visit www.kidneyfund.org/ or mail donations to: 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, Maryland, 20852.  For information, directions or to send condolences to the family, please visit www.shorepointfh.com.
