Normal Nadel

     Norman Nadel, 74, of Matawan, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 30, 2017.  Norman was born on February 28, 1943 in Manhattan, New York and grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where he met his wife, Rena.  On June 19, 1971, Norman and Rena were married and they started their life together in Brooklyn.  Two years later, they settled in Matawan, New Jersey to start and raise their family.  Throughout his life, Norman worked for Merrill Lynch in Manhattan, New York as an Operations Finance Manager; he was currently retired.

     He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Ann (Sheir) Nadel, his beloved wife, Rena (Liethman) Nadel, his sister, Roberta Cudyker, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sylvia and Charles Leithman.  Norman is survived by his loving children, Bonnie Nadel-Kennedy and her husband, Robert, of Pennsylvania, Jill Nadel-Blustein and her husband, Darren, of Parlin, New Jersey, and Amy Nadel of Matawan, New Jersey.  He is also survived by his dear sister, Carol Hirst and her husband, Robert, his brother-in-law, Lewis Cudyker, his cherished grandchildren, Ryan and Andrew Kennedy, and many adoring nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
